I got the beekeeper’s dream swarm call; the swarm was reported to be on a gate low to the ground and only 1/2 mile away. Throw the equipment box and suit into the back of the car and off we go. The swarm was there as reported. I checked today and it looks to be successful. I could not tell if the queen was working but they were starting to draw out comb on the two frames of foundation. The frame of brood I gave them had small larva. As it has been only three days, I’m guessing that the small larva is from eggs that transferred over. I’ll know in a week. What fun!
