Today was a good bee day  with temperatures in the mid 50°F. Bees made their first flight in weeks.

I opened the hives for a quick look and found the clusters were mostly in the top supers.The hives have plenty of stores but it is in the wrong place, low and to the outside. On the next warm day my  project will be to rearrange frames to keep food above the cluster.  Over 10 hours of daylight now.  Spring is  only 6 weeks away, time to get the equipment painted, repaired and ready for the bees.
