For years now, I have been producing nucs for my own use and for sale to a few beekeeping friends that want to avoid packages. My usual tactic is to convince these beekeepers that making their own nucs would be both easier and more cost effective. Now is the time to start planning for this phase of beekeeping.

Over the years, I have collected a number of documents that I use to help motivate other beekeepers to move in this direction. These can be found on the Nuc production menu tab above.

Currently, I’m working with a small group of like minded beekeepers with the goal of improving the local nuc production effort. Our goal is to encourage, support, train and mentor others to become a part of this endeavor.
